Awaruna DUN: Notes about applications

Awaruna DUN is lighter than Awaruna EVO by weight. “DUN” – like in case of Kalikana DUN – points that this series has oblong shape compared with Awaruna.

Any kings of rigging are available. Awaruna DUN has inside channel to guide the shank of offset hook or stinger’s rigs, back slit to cover the hook’s point, elongated side grooves for guiding of external double-hook rigging.

The body proportions allow using of wide variations of offset hooks with different depths of gap.

Unladen Awaruna DUN with offset hook shows excellent casting distance and very attractive action even on straight retrieving: snaky windings, available thanks to the impulses from tail’s blade locating under specific angle to the body (different from the blade’s angle of Awaruna EVO).

The tail’s blade of DUN deviates under water pressure at retrieving at the angle different from EVO, and moves freely and is strong enough to keep the body’s “snake winding” at any kind of rigging. The types of fluctuations and water disturbances produced by Awaruna DUN differ from Awaruna EVO and give you more options for successful fishing.

When you or predator cut the tail blade, Awaruna DUN transforms into slug-like lure with additional options for manipulations.
